Creating and Managing FirePowered Donations

FirePowered Gaming is 100% reliant on donations to operate.  Every dollar from community members is put back into the community in the form of operating costs (servers/software) and prizes (keys/bills/buds/games).  If you like what we’re doing and want to help out, you can donate TF2 items or pick from one of our two donation packages ($5 and $7 monthly).

Payment Methods

TF2 Items: We currently accept Mann Co. Supply Crate Keys which grant 10 days of donor perks.  We plan to implement other TF2 payment options relatively soon (likely Bills and Buds within the next few weeks).  TF2 donations are not associated with your forum account, so you will not get a green “Donor” badge on the forums, but all other perks will apply.

PayPal: All our monetary donation packages are available through PayPal.  Just select the PayPal option when checking out.  This is our preferred method for accepting donations of under $12.

Credit/Debit: We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club on our site directly, including prepaid cards.  Payment processing is done by Stripe.

Donation Perks

As a thank-you for supporting us, we offer a range of in-game server benefits for donating.  The vanilla TF2 experience is important to us, so we make sure that none of these perks interfere with gameplay.  You can find a full list of what is in each package here.

Donating

Donating TF2 items is pretty straight-forward and covered in detail on the key donation page.  The donor perks are the same as the standard TF2 package, minus any forum benefits.

For monetary donations, please visit our donation packages on the forums.  All packages are recurring unless otherwise stated.  They can be cancelled at any time and you will keep your donor benefits until your current period has expired.  All donor perks are listed under their respective packages.

Select the package you want, the renewal period, and click “Add to cart.”

You will then be redirected to your shopping cart where you can checkout.

On the payment screen, there is an option to apply any coupons you might have at the bottom of the page.  Select either Credit Card or PayPal to continue.

Once checkout is complete, your donor benefits should activate instantly.  If they do not appear after five minutes, try reconnecting to the server.  And if you have any problems, open a support ticket by navigating to the Help Desk (Help -> Help Desk).

Managing Active Donations

You can view the status of your TF2 item donations at the bottom of the same page the donation was made.  For all other donations, click on your username and go to the Client Area on our forums.

If you have pending invoices (ex: expired packages or items that have not been processed) they will appear on the overview page.  If you want to edit a current package, click on the Purchases tab.  Inactive cancelled items will say “Cancelled” in red, and active items will show the monthly renewal cost.

If you have a cancelled subscription that has not yet expired, the renewal cost will be blank.

8-non-recurring

Clicking on a package name will allow you to edit details about that package.  Here you can cancel, review, upgrade, or renew packages that were previously cancelled.

All our game server donation packages include reserved slots.  If the server appears full then Steam wont let you attempt to connect, but you can type: connect 23.235.225.106:27015 (replace the IP with the applicable server) in the TF2 developer console to instantly join one of the hidden donor slots.

If you have questions about anything, don’t hesitate to open a support ticket or contact any of our admins on Steam.
